I received a very sweet email from Gokce in Instanbul, Turkey informing me about her new collection for fall.  You may remember that I posted about her previous work from Uttu.  Now she has another pretty lookbook featuring her latest designs from her collection You Look Familiar.   The eyelet dresses are my favorite pieces. 

Etsy Update: Autumn Dresses

A few weeks ago I discovered a lovely collection of vintage dresses at a flea market.  They were all in need of a little love, so they've been soaked, mended, steamed and are ready for new homes.  All of these have been added to the Etsy shop.  Now I better get to work on the next batch!

D'Orsay Flats

I've been on the hunt for a pair of very sensible shoes to wear on an every day basis.  My default footwear for winter is usually a pair of riding boots (over very thick socks!).  I've always marveled at the girls wearing their flats on bare feet in the freezing cold.  Why?!  I just can't do it.  I've also never liked shoes with pointed toes.  So, it's vexing to me that I've found myself so smitten with the idea of a pair of D'orsay flats.  Cold, impractical shoes with pointed toes!  But I want them nonetheless.
